In San Antonio, it has become a tradition that during the Great Lent, the Orthodox parishes of the city celebrate the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts alternatively in each community, with the participation of the priests and the faithful. During Great Lent 2023, the Pan-Orthodox service of the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts began at the Romanian Parish of "St. John Cassian and St. Andrei, Metropolitan of Transylvania", attended by Greek, Antiochian and OCA priests and faithful. On the Sunday of Orthodoxy, the priests and faithful of San Antonio served Pan-Orthodox Vespers in the Greek Parish "St. Sophia."
