With the blessing of His Eminence NICOLAE, Metropolitan of the Romanian Orthodox Metropolia of the Americas, and the support and blessing of His Eminence TEOFAN, Metropolitan of Moldova and Bucovina and of His Eminence CALINIC, Archbishop of Suceava and Rădăuți, the Psaltic Choir “Sf. Ioan cel Nou” from Suceava performed an impressive Romanian carols concert Prin colinde românești, diasporei dăruiești on Sunday, December 20, 2020. The carolers presented a wonderful repertoire of carols from all regions of Romania. This concert was part of the diocesan MISSION FUND program and intended to raise donations for the missions (new parishes) of our Metropolia at the beginning of their missionary work, as well as for the pastoral work of Romanian communities in Latin America. For this purpose, the intermissions were filled by an encouraging message from His Eminence NICOLAE, as well as by a video clip from the parish “Sts. Constantine and Helena” in Caracas, Venezuela, in which Fr. Antonio Garcia presented the beautiful wooden church that needs restoration.
